Travel Together
Across level 5 to 20 zones, you'll find a charming network of rideable carts that carry up to four players along fixed scenic routes with multiple stops. Whether you're heading from Sentinel Hill to Goldshire or onward to Redridge, these area-themed carts offer a convenient, no-cost way to travel. Feeling adventurous? You can even hop on or off a passing cart mid-journey — just mind your timing! It's a lighthearted, communal way to explore the world alongside fellow travelers.
A Worthy Achievement
The Achievement system from Wrath of the Lich King lives on, but not without careful attention. We've meticulously reworked or removed Blizzard's original achievements to ensure they align with a Vanilla-themed world, preserving immersion and consistency. On top of this, you'll discover entirely new achievements and feats of strength crafted around Project Epoch's unique content, offering fresh challenges and rewarding milestones for dedicated explorers, collectors, and champions alike.
Transmogrification
Transmogrification allows players to reshape the appearance of their gear, mixing aesthetics from past adventures without sacrificing stats — a beloved system for many who want to express their unique style.
But not everyone enjoys a world awash in mismatched sets and flashy illusions. For those who prefer a grounded, authentic visual experience, a visit to the Transmogrifier lets you disable all player Transmogrifications, ensuring the world around you stays raw, unembellished, and true to its natural form.
Banking Upgrades
Project Epoch retains the Guild Bank system introduced in The Burning Crusade, offering shared storage space for guild members to deposit, organize, and withdraw items with customizable permissions — a major quality-of-life upgrade over the Vanilla experience. We've also preserved the additional personal bank slot available in later clients, giving players just a bit more room to manage their growing collections and treasures.
Mount Scaling
Your mount's speed automatically scales with your highest unlocked Riding Skill, giving you the freedom to choose mounts based on style and preference rather than raw speed. Whether you favor a sturdy warhorse, a swift nightsaber, or a classic raptor, you can roam the world on the mount you love most — without worrying about falling behind.
Dual Specialization
Dual Specialization, a hallmark feature from Wrath of the Lich King, lets players seamlessly switch between two saved talent builds, making it easier to adapt between roles like tanking, healing, or dealing damage without constant respec costs.
We've preserved this system on Project Epoch — with a 1,000 gold unlock fee, keeping it a meaningful milestone and a valuable community gold sink. Whether you're prepping for dungeons, raids, or PvP, Dual Specialization empowers you to broaden your playstyle and bring versatility to your adventures.
Redefine Your Look
Tired of looking like Asmongold? The Barber system, introduced in later expansions, remains available, letting you change your character's hairstyle, facial hair, and other cosmetic details for a small gold fee. Whether you're freshening up your look or embracing a whole new style, the Barber offers a fun, accessible way to personalize your character without rerolling — because sometimes, even heroes need a little makeover.
Fight on Your Terms
Originally introduced in Wrath Patch 3.1, the ability to queue for Battlegrounds from anywhere in the world remains available, letting PvP players join the action without visiting a physical Battlemaster. Whether you're out questing, crafting, or exploring, you can jump into Battlegrounds at your convenience — though note that this system applies only to Battlegrounds, not other PvP activities.
Collections Tabs
In Vanilla, mounts and cosmetic pets took up valuable bag space, crowding your inventory. We've preserved the Collections tabs from Wrath of the Lich King, giving these treasured collectibles their own dedicated home. With mounts and pets accessible at any time without cluttering your bags, you can enjoy a cleaner inventory while showing off your favorite companions wherever your adventures take you.
